Are you a Yard Sale Archeologist?
YSA's are little more hardcore than the usual run-of-the-mill yard sale
shopper. You're not a "morning person" but you get up at 5AM to
be at the opening of the earliest yard sale. The night before, you
not only make a list of the yard sales you want to visit, but print
maps, too. You go to yard sales on FRIDAY. Sometimes you will say,
" There she is!" in your best Ricardo Montalban voice when you
finally find the next yard sale. You feel personally responsible for you
local paper having the brilliant idea of posting the yard sale
listing on-line. You feel ill paying retail for something you are sure you
will find at a yard sale next week. You wish you had brought a bull-whip to scatter the
apparent family reunion happening between you and the table of items you
want to see.
If any of that sounds familiar, then this website is dedicated to
YOU. Its first job is to provide resources, hits, tips, inspiration,
and entertainment to you busy, hardworking YSAs. Last, if your interested,
you can see what I have found that for sale or ridicule.
About me. I have been selling stuff on the internet since
about 1996. I joined eBay in 1998. I have been a truck driver,
oil field worker, pawn broker, and small business owner. I am married with
no kids. I was born in Georgia in 1962.
I hope you enjoy your visit, and GOOD HUNTING!
